What does progress look like?
Going to bed 10 minutes earlier (to eventually get up a hour earlier)

Walking for 5 minutes every morning (to start training for a 5k)
Putting $5 a week into a savings account (to travel abroad)
Bringing your own drink straw (to use less plastic)
Learning one word a day (to speak a new language)
Writing one article (to start to know your own voice)
Practicing for 10 minutes every evening (to be a pianist)
Getting in the shallow end (to learn to swim)
Sending one email to a Member of Congress (to make change)
Eating better on a Tuesday (to move towards healthy)
Cleaning out one drawer a week (to declutter your house)
What does perfection look like?
Not starting.
SOOO GOOD! And true!
Absolutely!! It feels to me about pointing in the direction I most want to go and taking the next step in that direction. I often point somewhere else, but I can remember to reset, turn back in that direction I most want to go, and take another step... Climate action is a great reminder and focuser for that. It's clearly a big deal, which would seem to be challening ALL of us to be our BEST. So it seems clear that it's about ways to change (all?) of our little micro-behaviors that haven't been working. btw, I love this new forum, Anne!
