This weekend, we are out in the wild!
Ok, well not that wild - we are in a campground, so there’s, like, water and stuff. And we’re in our tiny wee teardrop camper (Aggie Mae1) that has an embarrassing number of modern conveniences, such as air conditioning, which given the forecast, is a welcome mod con for me!
We are both tent-campers, and so the technical wizardry of a camper, even a small one, is both amazing and a little overwhelming. But it truly does make us get out and about more. And I really appreciate this in my next chapter. There is very little chance I would be up for a tent adventure when temps are in the mid-to-upper 90s, but knowing we can cool off for periods of time in the camper, makes it not just doable, but enjoyable!
One of these days, and I will have a post about this in an exploration of priorities, Aggie Mae will take us across country in a longer tour of America.
Looking forward to many more adventures in this little teardrop.
You have to name them, when they’re small apparently. There seems to be some sort of legal requirement. Aggie Mae is a combination of our grandmothers’ names. They were resilient, feisty, and adventurous ladies. Seemed fitting.
Yessss...to your cross country tour!!
Already mapping it out....!
